Even closer to the hotel is another of the Emerald Coast's seaside resorts that deserves a little detour during your stay at the Villa Reine Hortense: Saint-Lunaire.
Adjoining Dinard, this little village stretches out across an exceptional site between rocky points and beaches. A little fishing port during the Revolution, Saint-Lunaire developed during the second half of the 19th century when the seaside tourist industry grew and swimming in the sea became fashionable. Emblematic of this glorious past, the magnificent building of the former Grand Hotel still overlooks the main beach. During your walk, don't miss the beautiful Romanesque church and its recumbent statues or the Post Office whose façade was covered in mosaic by Isidore Odorico.
