Just 10 minutes from the hotel is a jetty from which you can cross La Rance dam in a small boat to quickly reach Saint-Malo, the pirate city with a thousand years of history. From the top of its ramparts, you will have a phenomenal view of the open sea and the town's beautiful granite houses. At low tide, take the sandy paths to visit Fort Vauban du Petit Bé, the tomb of Chateaubriand on the tidal island Grand Bé and Fort National, which was also built by Vauban in 1689 and is a protected historical monument. If you want to continue your trip back in time, discover Hotel Magon de la Lande, the 18th century house of a corsair, and the Etoile du Roy, a replica of a corsair's frigate and veritable floating museum.
